Accommodations are initially determined for classroom or online settings. As students approach clinical or internship experiences (i.e., CLN, FLD, INT, PRA, or STT courses), they should contact their Accommodations Specialist in advance to request clinical accommodations.
Experiential accommodations are assessed individually, considering the student’s needs, program requirements, and placement site, with input from the student and experiential coordinator. ODS ensures accommodations do not alter essential program requirements or pose safety risks.
If approved, ODS will notify the coordinator, who will help implement the accommodations with the student and site.
