Students who wish to register with ODS for Fall 2017 and who have yet to submit documentation should do so immediately. Although there is no deadline to register, it takes time for ODS staff to review documentation and meet with students, so, the sooner documentation is submitted, the sooner the registration process can be completed. Please refer to the Documentation Requirements page for information about acceptable forms of documentation.
Students who have submitted documentation but have yet to schedule a meeting with an ODS case manager should do so immediately. This meeting is mandatory before accommodations can be put in place. Call (205) 348-4285 to schedule an appointment.
Please note that only students may schedule this meeting. Parents may not schedule on a student’s behalf. We have found that students are more likely to keep their appointments when they schedule their own.
Also note that, in order to schedule this meeting, documentation must have already been submitted to ODS. Please submit documentation and wait for an acknowledgment that it has been received before attempting to schedule.
