Accommodations on National Tests

ODS is happy to assist registered students who wish to receive accommodations for national tests. Students wishing to apply for these accommodations should read the information on this page carefully before contacting ODS.

First, please note that accommodations on these tests are not granted by ODS. While ODS can assist in applying for accommodations, the decision of which, if any, accommodations to grant rests solely with the organization administering the test.

When seeking accommodations for these tests:

  • Begin the process early. Since the process of gathering and submitting required forms and documentation and waiting for them to be reviewed can take time, it is advisable to start this process at least three months before planning to schedule the test. This does not mean beginning the process three months before the test but rather three months before one would normally start the scheduling process.
  • Find the link for requesting accommodations for the appropriate test below.
  • Read the information carefully and complete as much of the requested information as possible. You must do this before contacting ODS for assistance.
  • If you are unable to complete the accommodations request on your own, please contact ODS for assistance. You will be asked to submit copies of the forms you have completed so that they can be reviewed. Once that review is complete, you may schedule an appointment to meet with a staff member, who will assist you in completing the accommodations request.
